Mr. Biggs received his undergraduate degree from Duke University (1987) in history and political science. He continued his education by achieving his law degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law (1990). Mr. Biggs' law practice is concentrated in the areas of Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, Banking Law, Estate Planning, Business and Contract Law. Mr. Biggs is a member of the Real Estate and Business Law Sections of the North Carolina Bar Association.

A Durham native, Mr. Biggs has been an active community volunteer since returning to Durham after completing law school. He is a Past President of the Durham Bar Associations's Young Lawyer's Division and the Durham Junior Chamber of Commerce (Durham Jaycees, Inc.) and has been recognized as with The Distinguished Service Award by the Durham Jaycees, Inc. In 1999, Mr. Biggs was named one of the Five Outstanding Young North Carolinians by the North Carolina Junior Chamber of Commerce.
